Beyond the horizon: next breakthroughs in near-surface.
Geoscientific developments over the past decades have been mainly driven by oil & gas exploration. Until recently, this knowledge has diversified and now been applied to a variety of applications in the near-surface domain, including engineering, environmental, archaeological, natural resource, etc., which could pave the way for the next frontier for advancements in geoscience.
In this session, the panel will discuss the next breakthroughs in near-surface research, emerging key areas, and how the future of (near-)geophysics looks. Â
