About the Event Location & Venue

Get to know Naples & the Venue

Nestled on the southwest coast of Italy, Naples is a vibrant city set between two active volcanic regions: Mount Vesuvius to the east and the Campi Flegrei to the northwest. Its stunning bay, dotted with the islands of Capri, Ischia, and Procida, offers breathtaking views, easily reachable by ferry from the city’s bustling harbor.

Founded over 2,500 years ago by the Greeks, Naples boasts Europe’s largest historic center, a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1995. The city’s rich history is woven through its monuments, palaces, museums, and underground catacombs.

Known for its welcoming atmosphere and warm climate, Naples invites you to explore its lively streets, savour authentic Neapolitan cuisine, and enjoy the iconic views of Mount Vesuvius. Join us in this dynamic city for an unforgettable event where tradition and innovation meet.

The Venue - Naples Maritime Station

Naples Maritime Station, a striking architectural landmark from the 1930s, stands at the heart of the city’s waterfront, overlooking the expansive Municipio Square and facing the grand Maschio Angioino (Castel Nuovo). The building’s original design includes decorative elements like bronze metopes and Trani stone medallions, celebrating both local and global maritime heritage.

Located in the heart of the city centre – with the metro Line 1 (stop “Municipio”) just a few steps – the conference venue offers a perfect balance of accessibility and cultural immersion for all NSG2025 participants.
