NSG2023 News The Future of Near Surface Geophysical Instrumentation

The EAGE technical community on Hydrogeophysics will run a webinar on 7 March (15:00 – 16:00 CET) for all members to join. The topic – geophysical instrumentation for Near Surface Geoscience – is an excellent opportunity to dive into their field with multidisciplinary lenses and explore what the challenges are, and what we are missing to tackle them.

The programme will feature an inspiring keynote presentation by Professor Esben Auken (Aarhus GeoInstruments, Aarhus University) followed by a panel discussion moderated by Dr Andi A. Pfaffhuber (EMerald Geomodelling) with some of the most active near surface geophysical instrument developing teams.

This initiative precedes the 2nd Conference on Hydrogeophysics, which will run at the EAGE Near Surface Geoscience Conference & Exhibition 2023 (3-7 September 2023 | Edinburgh, UK). Following the successful experience of its first edition in Bordeaux 2021, this event aims to discuss contributions to exploration and management of groundwater, land-use and natural hazards under a changing climate.

Submissions for NSG2023 are open until 25 April 2023. Read more about the topics below or join the webinar to meet the community!
