If you are attending the SAGEEP Symposium 2025 in Denver later this month, you might come across some of the most exceptional presentations from our previous Near Surface Geoscience Conference & Exhibition 2024, featured in the “Best of NSG 2024” session. This initiative, part of our longstanding cooperation with the Environmental and Engineering Geophysical Society (EEGS), reinforces the strong connection between our societies and fosters the exchange of innovative applications in environmental and engineering geophysics across the Atlantic.
To complete the exchange, the top four papers from SAGEEP 2025 will be invited to present in Naples this September, and we look forward to welcoming them! Stay tuned for the technical programme announcement to see the final selection.
In the meantime, you can explore the four selected papers in EarthDoc below: an exciting collection of research showcasing the latest advancements in near-surface geoscience.
- UAV magnetic surveys for mineral exploration: implications for mine planning and safety, by Jureya Dildar et al.
- Investigating Near Offset Seismic Wave Propagation in Elastic Media, by Cooper Cearley et al.
- An integrated geophysical study to understand the structural architecture of Kheis Terrane for future mineral exploration, by Malaika Motsoai et al.
- Seismic imaging of the deep-seated orebody and fault systems at South Deep Gold Mine, South Africa, by Moyagabo Kenneth Rapetsoa et al.
Don’t forget! You can still join NSG2025 as a speaker – and participate in the selection for the next “Best of NSG” session – by submitting your work until 1 May!
